Director.

Julio Colomer is the director of the SILICON VALLEY HABITAT project. Colomer has been studying, teaching and practicing Entrepreneurship for the last 10 years. His sources have always been US experts, since Harvard, to Stanford or Babson. Colomer has also studied US experts in New Trends, Venture Capital, Business Angels and a long list of great Entrepreneurs. He wrote one of the first studies about the Silicon Valley Model published in Spain.

When Colomer finished his MBA from ESADE Business School (the #1 European Business School according The Wall Street Journal), he made an Internship in the Business Incubator of San Francisco (California), where he lived in 1998.

Back to Spain, he co-founded GE!, a Business Consulting Corporation focused on Business Growth and Sales Increase. His job has been reported in several national newspapers, magazines and televisions, and he has given conferences national and internationally.

GE! had delegations in Valencia, Madrid and Salamanca, and collaborated successfully with another top Consulting firms like SIPCRE, EXEM CONSULTING or METAFORUM.

Since 1998, Colomer also edited a magazine online. This magazine contained articles and interviews with the main Spanish experts on Business Growth and Sales Increase.

BONSAI VENTURE CAPITAL, an IT-focused Venture Capital firm from Madrid offered Colomer a job as General Manager in 2005. This company was funding various of the Top Internet Companies of Spain (like Idealista, Infojobs, Emagister or Neurona).

In 2006, Colomer co-founded the GRUPO LARGA VIDA. This was one of the first companies of Casual Food in Spain, serving fast-healthy-international-gourmet food in restaurant, take-away, delivery & catering lines.

After this 10 professional years and background, in 2007 Colomer moved to Silicon Valley looking for new professional challenges.
